Old Elk Distilleries began with a simple conviction: that the best spirits and breads
are made slowly, with attention to the ingredients and the hands that shape them. We opened
our doors on West Oak Street with a copper still in the back room and a flour-dusted
bakery counter at the front.
Fort Collins gave us everything — the water, the grain, the community. In return, we
pour our time into every batch. Our spirits are distilled in small lots and aged on-site.
Our breads are mixed before dawn and baked through the morning. Nothing here is rushed.
We are not a factory. We are a workshop with a door that opens to the street, where
neighbors come in for a glass and a loaf and stay for the conversation.
